CrossFit is a layered fitness regimen combining strength training, gymnastics, and endurance sports. CrossFitters run, row, climb and jump, also practicing Olympic-style weightlifting and Strongman exercises. Equipment from all kinds of disciplines are used in CrossFit gyms, including dumbbells, gymnastic rings, plyo boxes, kettlebells, and anything else that contributes to a varied, energetic workout.
